Close to Universal Parks, big rooms10/11/2013
It's cheap, rooms are really big, breakfast is good although expensive for orlando standards: you can have about the same for one third of the price.

We went to Orlando, Florida from July 14th through the 21st for our honeymoon. We booked all 7 nights at the International Palms Hotel. The location was awesome. We were central to all the parks and there were good places to eat nearby. However, we were extremely disatisfied with the hotel. We were on the 14th floor of the tower. The elevator was creepy and dirty. The first room we were assigned to had a leak in the ceiling so we were moved to a different one on the same floor. The room was dated and not kept very clean. The hotel itself was not clean either.
Great for the price05/10/2013

We must have stayed in a newly renovated room.  I am one to check for bed bugs right when I enter a hotel room and this room was super clean.  The only down fall was the hot water wouldn't work in the shower.  The front desk employees were very friendly.  You get what you pay for, and this was a little more than we had expected.

The buildings are old, the plumbing is bad, and the service is absolutely horrible. They have employees that are as helpful as they can be due to the circumstances; Mark, Cathy, and Carol were all very helpful their general manager was not helpful at all. Their elevators don't work, and flushing might not be the best thing to do with bad plumbing. The hotel is out dated, and getting someone to answer the phones at the front desk is impossible because there are not enough people on staff. The young lady that traveled with me had a mouse in her room. Not happy, not worth the money you pay!! You would probably have a better stay at a motel! FYI the door to the interior buildings stay unlocked.

The rooms are not really clean, the AC is very very loud. We had to heat and the just had thin blankets in december. We requested extra ones and got the answer they don´t know if the still have any, because of the big demand. We could hear every word of our neighbours room and they were only talking. Definitely not for families with children. Breakfast was not included, for that price, we will never go there again.
