THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THE WAIT STAFF AT THE POOL AND POOL RESTURANT AREA. THEY SEEMED TO TO "GIVE OFF" THE ADDITUDE LIKE "THEY WERE DOING YOU A FAVOR"! IN MY OPINION VERY, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINNING! MAYBE THIS IS DUE TO HE MANDATORY GRATUITY GUESTS ARE MADE TO PAY. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERCVIE ISN'T NECESSARY. THEY MAKE TIPS NO MATTER WHAT! IN MY CASE THE MANAGEMENT SAVED ME MONEY BECAUSE I GIVE 20% OR BETTER, BUT ONLY FOR DESERVING SERVICE. MANDATORY GRATUITY COULD BE THE REASON FOR THE "ADDITUDE" AND POOR SERVICE. I REALIZE SOME OF THE POSSIBLE REASONS WHY THIS POLICY WAS PUT INTO USE BUT I'M SURE SOMETHING ELSE COULD BE OR SHOULD BE INACTED FOR SUCH A HIGHER CLASS PROPERTY AS THIS. IT'S JUST TOO BAD THIS WAS THE ONLY NEGATIVE OR IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A STELLAR SCORE FOR THIS PROPERTY!

We arrived late afternoon after circling around the shopping area and casino. The hotel entrance is on a back street and the signage is lacking for the hotel. We encountered our first issue at check-in when they told us we would not be receiving the free buffet breakfast but would receive a discount. After additional checking, that was cleared up. After checking out our room which was satisfactory and somewhat spacious, we found the carpeting was wet along the wall. We reported it and a gentleman from Facilities checked it out and suggested we request a new room. We asked if he could do that and he said no we would have to go back to registration. By now guests were arriving and there was a line, so one of their VIP clerks said she could help up. She asked if we wanted to change rooms and we asked what other option we had. She said she could offer us a similar room in another wing, which we accepted. We went back to our room and gathered our things and started walking and walking. The other wing was at the opposite end of the property and the elevators were not conjoined, so we actually had to use 3 elevators to get to our new room. It was not as spacious but we were hungry and left to eat. When we returned to go to bed, we found our bed was very soft and uncomfortable. We got up the next morning and got in the shower only to find the corner tiles and flooring were covered in a black mold. We tried the express checkout and found it was not working that morning. When we did check out at the front desk, we found we had been charged for our "free" breakfast. They did remove the charges, but when we advised them that our room had mold issues, they said why didn't we call them? There was never any offer of apology or offer of any kind for return stays. We will try somewhere else next time.

What a wonderful hotel! Wish I would have booked it for more nights. Love the pool area, has a nice sandy beach and you can walk right into the pool. Casino is separate, so you don't need to talk through it to get to your room. Great staff, very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel!
